Terms of Service

Last updated: May 17, 2026

By using Webtor ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the Service

You may use Webtor only in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. You are responsible for your activity on the service and any content you interact with.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

To use certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all actions taken under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Webtor. By signing in, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly process personal data of children under 16; if we become aware that an account belongs to a minor below that threshold, we will delete the account and all associated data without notice.

3. Prohibited Content & Activities

3.1. Zero tolerance — strictly forbidden content

The following content is absolutely prohibited on Webtor. Attempting to add, stream, share, embed, vault, or otherwise interact with such material via the service is grounds for immediate account termination, permanent removal of the underlying torrent (by infohash), and — where applicable law requires — reporting to law enforcement and the appropriate national hotlines (e.g. NCMEC in the United States, IWF in the United Kingdom):

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), including any depiction, simulation, or promotion of sexual activity involving minors, regardless of medium or jurisdiction of origin;
  • Sexual content involving real or implied minors, including content marketed using minor-age markers (e.g. "Nyo", "preteen", "loli", "kindergarten", "schoolgirl/schoolboy"), erotic webcam captures of minors, and material from known CSAM distribution rings;
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn"), hidden-camera or spy-cam recordings of private acts, and any sexual content shared without the participants' informed consent;
  • Bestiality, content depicting cruelty toward animals, and torture or violence content presented for sexual gratification;
  • Content advertising, linking to, or promoting access to any of the above (including pointer torrents to onion sites, forums, or paid CSAM exchanges).

Reports of such content can be sent at any time via our support channel. We act on reports without notice to the uploader.

3.2. Other prohibited activities — you also agree not to use Webtor for:

  • Infringement of copyrights or other intellectual property rights (see also our DMCA page);
  • Distribution of malicious software, phishing, or credential-stealing payloads;
  • Promotion or sale of unlawful goods or services;
  • Any activity that could harm the service, other users, or third parties.

4. Content Moderation & Enforcement

Webtor automatically screens incoming torrents at the storage layer against a constantly-updated abuse blocklist. Torrents matching the blocklist are rejected at intake and not stored, indexed, or served. Already-known illegal infohashes are blocked at playback.

Where automated screening misses a violation, content can be reported via our support channel. Confirmed reports lead to permanent block of the offending infohash and cascading removal from every part of the service (library, watch history, embeds, vault, cached metadata).

We cooperate with valid law-enforcement requests and may, at our discretion, refer accounts and metadata associated with prohibited content described in §3.1 directly to the appropriate national authority.

5. Embed Usage

Webtor provides embed functionality only to authorized users. Embeds may be used solely on websites that are owned or directly controlled by the user.

By generating or using embed links, you confirm that:

  • You are logged in and authorized to use the embed feature;
  • You have administrative access to the domain where the embed is placed;
  • You are not embedding content on public or third-party platforms outside of your control;
  • You accept full responsibility for any embedded content and its distribution.

Embed playback is permitted only when accessed from domains linked to your account. Webtor may disable embeds or revoke access at any time in response to misuse, abuse, or legal complaints.

6. Sharing & Anonymous Access

Webtor lets any user generate a shareable link to a resource page so a third party can preview the content for a limited time without an account. By generating, copying, or distributing such a link, you (the "sharer") accept additional responsibilities:

  • You confirm that the underlying content does not fall within the categories prohibited by §3.1 (Zero-tolerance content) and does not, to your knowledge, infringe third-party rights (see DMCA);
  • You are responsible for where the link ends up. Sharing into a public space (forum, social network, Discord, Telegram, school chat, etc.) shifts the recipient mix beyond people you know personally — including potentially minors;
  • You confirm you will not deliberately share links to recipients you know or have reason to believe are under the age of 16 (see §2). We rely on this representation; if you breach it, the consequences in §6.4 apply to you, not the recipient.

6.1. Recipients (anonymous viewers). By following any link to Webtor — including a shared link, a deep link from a third-party site, a search-engine result, or a direct URL — you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you are at least 16 years old (see §2). Anonymous browsing is subject to the same prohibited-content and prohibited-activities rules as authenticated use.

6.2. Limits of anonymous preview. Free-tier anonymous viewers receive a time- and bandwidth-limited preview ("grace period") of the underlying content. Webtor may change, restrict, or revoke this preview at any time, for any resource or for the service as a whole, without notice and without consideration owed to the sharer.

6.3. Link revocation. Webtor may disable, block, or redirect any shared link at any time, in particular when the underlying resource is removed under §4 (Content Moderation & Enforcement) or when a shared link is being used to distribute content in violation of these Terms. Disabled or revoked links return an explanatory page or a generic 404, at our discretion.

6.4. Sharer enforcement. Sharers who repeatedly distribute links to content removed under §3 or §4, or who knowingly share to minors in breach of §2, are subject to the full range of enforcement actions in §7 below — including account termination — in addition to any other remedy available to us under applicable law.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Webtor if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior towards the service or other users. Violations of §3.1 (Zero-tolerance content) result in immediate, irreversible termination of all accounts associated with the upload, embed, sharing, or playback attempt — without prior notice and without refund of any paid plan.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Webtor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webtor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and become effective immediately upon posting.
