Webtor is a free, open-source platform that lets you stream and download torrents directly in the browser — no software to install, no configuration needed.

Our Mission

Torrents are a powerful, decentralized way to share files — but using them has always required dedicated software, technical knowledge, and patience. We built Webtor to change that.

Our goal is to make torrents accessible to everyone. Whether you want to stream a video, preview files before downloading, or just grab a single file from a torrent — you can do it all in your browser, on any device.

Webtor processes everything in the cloud, so your device stays light and your IP stays private. No sign-up required — just paste a magnet link or upload a .torrent file and go.

Webtor is fully open-source under the MIT License. Every component — from the backend services to this web interface — is publicly available on GitHub.
